Account Expansions sanofi-aventis: Business expanded to a budget more than twice last year’s. We launched our award-winning S.T.A.N.D., the first social media campaign ever for diabetes awareness, and the “Diabetes: A Deeper Look” traveling exhibit. Sears: Our budget increased more than tenfold; we added AOR status for Kmart and Sears seasonal PR; we relaunched the layaway program and Heroes at Home; and we expanded the company’s footprint in social media (e.g., the Blogger Summit).

Awards Our health-care PR specialty is part of Euro RSCG Life, which in early 2010 was named Healthcare Agency of the Year by Adweek and 2010 All-Star Network of the Year by Medical Marketing & Media.

Bulldog Reporter honored Euro PR’s comprehensive work for sanofi-aventis’ Team Type 1 and Team Type 2 cycling teams with a bronze award for Best Health, Medicine and Fitness Campaign (2010).

Euro PR’s Diabetes team earned a 2010 Bronze SABRE (Superior Achievement in Branding and Reputation) award for its S.T.A.N.D. (Start Taking Action Now Against Diabetes) Summit Report.

Our S.T.A.N.D. program won a 2010 Big Apple Award in the Public Service Announcement category, from the New York chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).

Our ERWW PR team in Pittsburgh has earned many honors, including a 2010 Bronze Anvil Award of Commendation for a Transitions Optical feature story and the PRemio Award for Best National Hispanic Campaign from the Hispanic Public Relations Association for its Transitions Optical multicultural program—plus more than a dozen others, for Transitions, Bayer Corp. and Emerson Power & Water Solutions, from IABC Pittsburgh and PRSA Renaissance in 2009 alone.
